Director’s Commentary:
Produced for a comic challenge to draw a three page strip around the theme “post-apocalypse cartoon animals”.
I aimed to draw this quickly as I Have No Ideas And I Must Draw, otherwise I would have spent more time on character and vehicle designs. Also, left-handed shooters.
Kennedy and Dixon existed as sketches prior to this strip, but this is their first comic appearance. Mitsuko appeared in one strip completely unrelated to this one. Moon and Rasmussen were created for this story.
Drawn at A4 with a 12-panel grid base, as opposed to my usual A5, 6-panel grid.
